At ABC Great Beginnings in Jordan Landing, our talented child care providers create a warm, nurturing environment that encourages learning on every level. Through structured play, activities and lessons, we help our students grow emotionally, intellectually, socially and creatively.

We provide a safe and encouraging environment for children from three weeks old to 12 years old. Our specialized programs are ideal for infants in need of focused attention, toddlers just beginning to explore the world, preschoolers getting ready for a lifetime of learning or school-aged kids who need before- and after-school care.

EXTENDED CHILD CARE HOURS

We know how busy you are and we understand that you may have to work early, work late, or may occasionally have to work longer than you intended. At ABC Great Beginnings, that’s no problem! We are open from 6 a.m. until 6:30 p.m., and we provide bus or small van transportation to and from several local schools.

AWARD-WINNING CURRICULUM

Children are primed for learning, and we see our role as not only child care providers, but also early childhood educators. We use the award-winning curriculum TeachingStrategies, which encourages a love for learning through play and exploration. We will send your children home with our calendar of scheduled activities on a monthly basis. Your children will learn early science, math and reading skills, artistic and musical creativity, and will participate in discussions about social and emotional awareness.

SAFETY FIRST, ALWAYS

Our facility and caregivers are fully licensed by the state of Utah, including training and background checks, and we participate in both scheduled and unscheduled inspections by the Bureau of Child Development. We focus on safety and take caregiver-to-child ratios very seriously, ensuring that each child gets the attention they need. Recently, we have upgraded the outdoor play area in our day care facility with rubber mat surfacing to help prevent slips, falls and other injuries.

We use either small vans or buses to transport your children, as these options are much safer than 15-passenger vans. This means extra expense for our facility, but we believe the safety of your children is worth every penny.

ABC Great Beginnings Jordan Landing Child Care Center is pleased to be a part of this great new Healthy Way to Grow program, developed out of the American Heart Association. This science based Healthy Way to Grow program is designed to help slow down childhood obesity by improving the practices and policies within early childhood programs.
