Park City

Starting children off on the right foot is important to parents in the Park City area, and that’s why we pair excellent, nurturing child care with a research-based curriculum that helps every child learn and grow. We provide focused attention for infants and toddlers in day care, early skill-building for preschool students and both before- and after-school care for school-aged children. We can accommodate infants as young as three weeks old and older kids up to age 12.

EXTENDED HOURS, STRUCTURED AROUND YOUR SCHEDULE

We open at 7 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. to keep your children safe and happy even when you have to work early or stay late. We work with parents who need these extended hours on a regular basis, or you can take advantage of our early opening and closing times as needed. Regardless of when your children are with us, we are careful to provide required caregiver-to-child ratios. Your children will never be neglected at ABC Great Beginnings in Park City.

OUR FOCUS ON CHILD SAFETY

In addition to our age-based curriculum focused on early learning, our facility is dedicated to keeping your children safe. For school aged children, we provide transportation to and from school on buses. According to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, students traveling in brightly colored buses are more than 50 times more likely to arrive at school alive than students in passenger vehicles. For that reason, we use brightly colored buses that are reinforced on both sides and that include cross-view mirrors, flashing lights and stop arms.

When we have fewer children to transport, we use small vans with the highest safety ratings in the industry.

We also put safety first within our facility. Our outdoor play area uses rubber mat surfacing, which helps prevent slips and falls compared to surfaces such as gravel. Our surfacing also reduces the severity of injuries and helps keep children safe because it can’t be choked on or put in eyes, ears and mouths. This surfacing stays soft regardless of the weather, helping ensure safety during cold winter months in Park City.

PERFECT STATE LICENSING RECORD

Our Park City facility is licensed at the highest level by the state of Utah, and every caregiver we employ is trained and licensed to provide child care. This means every staff member has undergone in-depth background screenings for misdemeanors, felonies and findings of abuse. We are proud to say that our facility has passed every scheduled and unscheduled inspection with flying colors.

CURRICULUM YOU CAN COUNT ON

We provide focused attention for every child entrusted to our care, and we believe personal enrichment is vital for children of all ages. Our TeachingStrategies curriculum uses award-winning methods to teach children emotional awareness and social skills. We also teach early skills in math, reading and science and provide ample opportunity for musical and artistic creativity. We believe this play-based program is the best way for children to learn, grow and prepare for a lifetime of success in and out of school.
